Motlow Master Distiller’s House

Jack Daniel’s Distillery, Lynchburg, Tennessee - 2020

The Motlow Master Distiller’s House stands as a tribute to Lem Motlow, the second proprietor in a lineage that has consistently crafted Tennessee’s finest whiskeys. The reconstruction preserves the home’s original residential scale and character while inviting visitors into a warm, immersive hospitality experience unique to the Jack Daniel’s brand.

Inside, the house holds a carefully curated collection of artifacts that enrich the story of Jack Daniel’s, the distillery, and the surrounding Moore County. The design balances tradition with playful surprises - hidden doors and secret passages encourage guests to explore, discover, and enjoy moments of curiosity and delight.

More than a historic residence, the Motlow House offers a space where local hosts and whiskey enthusiasts from around the world connect over shared heritage and storytelling, wrapped in an atmosphere that’s “traditional with a twist.”
