CCTV 13, mainland China’s largest news channel, has commissioned two cutting-edge broadcast studios within their Beijing headquarters. Together, these 7,000 square feet 650 square meters (650 square meters) of studio space share a sleek, minimal palette of high-gloss white and silver finishes, punctuated by sweeping forms and flexible LED elements that adapt to diverse programming needs.

A new structural mezzanine capitalizes on the taller studio’s verticality, creating dynamic stand-up broadcast positions and emphasizing the impressive height. This innovative layering enhances visual storytelling and supports CCTV’s live hourly news reports and nightly current affairs programs.

The studios balance technical precision with elegant simplicity, offering a versatile backdrop for domestic and international coverage that defines CCTV 13’s authoritative voice.
