Jinan, Shandong, China - 2017

This work creatively transforms a formerly sparse, street-facing lobby into a dynamic broadcast environment for the Shandong Television Network. Inspired by the four-story atrium’s converging internal structure, the design integrates suspended and floor-mounted LED light frames engineered for maximum color flexibility.

LED video walls with raising and lowering mechanisms, alongside LED floor insets, create a mutable atmospheres that shifts seamlessly between daytime broadcasts and primetime drama. These elements establish a distinctive brand signature that resonates across the network’s varied programming.

The project also includes three additional broadcast studios and four floors of editorial newsrooms, allowing the cohesive brand aesthetic to appear throughout the entire media center and enhance the network’s daily operations with style and functionality.
