Fuzhou, China - 2019

The project transforms a multi-level existing space into a dynamic broadcast environment tailored for diverse on-air programming by creating a versatile studio with multiple shooting positions in a complex footprint.

Vast LED screens ring the studio perimeter, complemented by a ceiling-mounted camera track seamlessly integrated into the mezzanine structure. Large double-height windows are masked to control daylight, replaced by expansive LED arrays and light boxes that unify the first and second levels visually.

The mezzanine was dramatically extended, supported by steel structures housing a conference room and master control center, both overlooking the studio below through glazed partitions. Serving audiences globally in Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka, and Hokkien, Fujian Television’s upgraded facility merges technical sophistication with cultural reach.
